Translate Words into Expressions FRAZZLED Math Game - No Prep Algebra 1 Review

Win Big, then Lose Big, Then Win Big Again. So Frustrating, and FUN!

FRAZZLED is a No Prep Algebra 1 review game where teams earn an unknown amount of points for answering questions correctly! Be warned, get it wrong and your opponents get your points! Reveal a bomb and your points get reset to ZERO!

The game is playable with the whole class together, or you can play it as small groups. The review game has 20 questions and answers are included.

It is a digital resource. No printouts are required. All questions and answers use text and mathematical notation (formulas), and there are no diagrams, maps, charts, graphics, or visual aids.

While we provide a correct answer for every question, teachers should consider that students may provide a different answer that is correct and use their discretion.

How It Works

• The game runs entirely on Google Slides and also works great in PowerPoint. You can replace the questions and answers.
• Make 2 teams: Red & Blue.
• Teams alternate answering questions, checking them against the answers, which are provided.
• If the answer is correct, then tap a letter to reveal your points and add them to your score.
• If the answer is incorrect, then the other team taps to add points to their score.
• If anyone reveals a bomb, their points get reset to zero!
• Keep score on the board.
• Questions vary in difficulty and the answer is provided after each question.
• Highest score wins!

• Tablets that run Google Slides (free app)
• Smartboards
• Projectors
• Desktops
• Laptops
• Any device that runs Google Slides

This game can be played together as a class using a smartboard/projector, or it can be played by individuals and small groups on iPads or computers that run Google Slides.

No additional licenses required for the students in your class!

All of the images and colors are included just as you see it. Each user needs to purchase their own license, and the files may not be shared or sold to anyone, but you are free to make as many versions as you like for your own use.

The game will also work great on PowerPoint if you want to export it.

Important Information

• This game runs on Google Slides and also works on PowerPoint.
• A very small number of schools disable Google Slides animations and hyperlinks.
• If that happens, simply use another device such as a laptop or tablet running Google Slides.
