Explore 60 Human Impact on Ecosystems review games designed by a teacher to engage students and reinforce curriculum. Turn Science review into a game and give students a reason to get excited about showing what they know.

• In The TERRIBLE Game, teams answer questions to reveal mystery scores, then decide who gets the points as everyone battles to finish closest to zero.
• With SCOOT, students move around the room answering task cards, turning curriculum review into an active classroom game.
• Keep students on their toes with FRAZZLED, where every answer can reveal points, help the opposing team, or uncover a bomb that resets the score to zero.
• Turn review into a team battle with BUMP, where correct answers earn shots and students can bump their opponents off the platform for extra points.
• Turn review into a classroom battle with GRUDGEBALL, where correct answers earn attacks and successful baskets give teams extra shots at their opponents.

Review doesn’t have to mean another worksheet, especially when a game can get the whole class involved. The competition gets students paying attention to every question, communicating with their team, and getting genuinely excited when the answer is revealed. Once students know another game is coming, winning becomes a reason to pay attention, practice, and make sure they’re ready for the next one.

There’s research behind the fun too, with studies finding better academic performance and greater student engagement when games are brought into learning. See the research.
