Explore 2 Sentence Scramble - School Subjects review games designed by a teacher to engage students and reinforce curriculum. Turn Spanish review into a game and give students a reason to get excited about showing what they know.
- TRASHKETBALL™ gets teams racing to answer correctly, then rewards them with shots at the trash can to score points.
- Turn review into an unpredictable whole-class competition with The BIG TERRIBLE Game, where every answer can send a team’s score in the right or wrong direction.
Turning review into a game is one of my favorite ways to get students participating without making practice feel like more work. Once the game starts, students start talking, thinking, and working together, with hands shooting up and everyone waiting to see what happens next. Once students know another game is coming, winning becomes a reason to pay attention, practice, and make sure they’re ready for the next one.
The excitement is great, but the research is even better—educational games have been linked to stronger achievement, retention, and motivation. See the research.
