I’ve always found that students are much more willing to review when they feel like they’re playing instead of studying. You’ll see students lean into the questions, debate answers with their teammates, and hang on every result as the game unfolds. Once students know another game is coming, winning becomes a reason to pay attention, practice, and make sure they’re ready for the next one.

Don’t just take my word for it—research shows that game-based learning can improve student achievement, retention, and motivation. See the research.
